I have always wanted to "get lost" in the Flint Hills of Kansas. This summer, I took a day and just drove several hundred miles taking photographs.This photograph was taken out behind the Lower Fox Creek schoolhouse. I met a fellow photographer who was doing medium format photography. As we stood there talking shop, the sunlight decided to break through the clouds.
Brenda, this is a really a fantastic photo, and it reminds me so much of home. The Flint hills are a beautiful place and hopefully you will get lost in the hills again and show us some more. Keep up the fine work.

ReplyDeleteI love the lighting you captured here as well as the depth. The fence acts as a bit of foreground anchor which simultaneously adds interest up front and helps build that aforementioned depth. Excellent image.
